What makes Impact Fairfield County unique are the various levels of involvement available to its members. Members can serve as a board member or committee chair, join a grant review committee, sign up for volunteer engagement opportunities, attend membership programs or simply vote for the grantees at our Annual Meeting in May. Members can participate as much or as little as they choose; however, regardless of the level of involvement, each member has one vote for the grant winners. It is this mix of different levels of involvement that makes Impact FFC a success.

Participating in a volunteer engagement opportunity is a fantastic way to become familiar with Impact FFC and lend your support. We offer these opportunities in the following areas:

Membership Recruitment/Engagement – Help our Membership Chairs with recruitment events, Fall Kick-Off, an Impactful Conversation, Annual Meeting or other tasks relating to this incredibly important part of Impact FFC.

Communications/Marketing/PR – Do you have an expertise in any of these communications functions? If so, help our Communications Chairs produce a press release, develop a press contacts list, draft content for an upcoming e-blast or newsletter, post on social media or work on other strategies for spreading the importance of Impact FFC to our community.

Event Planning – Help our Events Chairs with the management of Impact FFC’s Fall Kick-Off, an Impactful Conversation, Board Meeting, Members Celebration or other events critical to Impact FFC’s programming.

Grants/Non-Profits – Do you want to get more involved in the grant process or with our applicants and grantees? Help our Grants Chairs in the many aspects of shepherding the grant process, planning site visits, working on our reporting/tracking of grantees, managing a volunteering event, or other tasks supporting the heart of Impact FFC’s work.

Technology – If you have IT experience or are savvy with technology, Impact FFC utilizes various software platforms to support all of our various functions and we would welcome your help managing and maintaining them. These include: SlideRoom, Wild Apricot, Survey Monkey, Sign Up Genius, Mail Chimp, DocuSign and more.
