Bring a game (board game, card game, etc.) to teach and play with a group of kids in the BGCS program, ages K - 12.
Volunteers will choose and purchase a game and have it available to donate to BGCS when they come for their time slot on 4/30. Volunteers can pair up and can also take children with you to participate.

Join us at the Stamford Square Conference Center (3001 Summer Street) for a conversation with Cara During from the Center for Education and Empowerment along with another panelist from Danbury Health and Human Services to discuss the challenges of preventative work to end interpersonal violence. We will explore the critical need to understand risk and protective factors and link this conversation to the public health issue created by interpersonal violence.

Join fellow Impact members and friends on January 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. for a healthy lunch and an exploration of ways to bring meditation practice, gentle healing movement, and mindfulness to our everyday lives. We will come together at Saraswati’s Yoga Studio in the Ironworks Building, Norwalk CT. There we will meet an SYJ teacher who will demonstrate gentle movements and stretches that we can use anytime and anywhere to relieve stress and tension. Next, an expert meditation facilitator from Community Mindfulness Project will guide us through mindful meditation practices that we can easily incorporate into our busy days.
We recommend that you dress comfortably - but yoga clothes are not necessary or required. We will be sitting on the floor. SYJ is located at: Ironworks Building, One North Water Street, South Norwalk, CT 06854.

Join us to learn about the future of our food, what it means to have access to local organic farming, food rescue and how our grantee, nOURish BRIDGEPORT, is leveraging technology to make healthy and environmentally friendly options available to communities across Fairfield County.
Panelists will be Rev. Sara Smith, President and CEO of nOURish BRIDGEPORT, and Lori Cochran-Dougall, Executive Director, Westport Farmers' Market.
